The active members who get the most out of the Club participate in the development of sailing fleets, operation and maintenance of our facilities, organization of events, and long-term planning for the success of the Club. According to our Bylaws, membership capacity is limited to 220 family and individual memberships. One third of these memberships are available for Associate members.

To become a member, either regular or associate, one must participate in three events (two of which must be on the water), have two club members sponsor them, and have an interview with the membership committee. Membership Types

Regular: Regular members own a sailboat AND are a resident of the Upper Keys (from Lower Matecumbe Key north to the Dade County Line, or Card Sound Bridge). Regular members are eligible to vote on all issues and eligible to serve as Flag Officers and Board Members.

Associate: Associate members are either residents who do NOT own a sailboat, or people who own a sailboat but are NOT residents.
